Maracucha Surrealistic Trilogy
A project that I managed to present at the Museo de Arte Contemporaneo de Maracaibo, MACZUL. General Curatorship by Jimmy Yanez.
This is an artistic investigation loaded with processes, such as those that Venezuela lives until today. The research of materials, the changes of financial values at the minute, prompted me to generate several artistic operations, which reflect on the economy and social impacts that reshape the culture.
In this time of work in Maracaibo, I managed to generate collaborations with local artists, work tables and production of works with family and friends, oral archives, and sculptural pieces.

Before the pandemic Nelson Gonzalez was the curator of the UNOCA gallery. In recent months, in the few attempts to reactivate spaces, the COVID 19 crisis continues to plague our island. As far as possible, we will continue to install new curatorial narratives in Aruba or other parts of the world.
