Monument to the Immigrant
It has been 20 years of direct contact with Aruba, a whole generation. 18 of those 20 years living here, in that integration process I met immigrants: Trinidadians, Jamaicans, Dominicans, Colombians, Venezuelans, Chinese, Dutch, Peruvians, Haitians, Cubans, Indians, Ecuadorians, Russians, Romanians, Poles, Spaniards, French, North Americans, Canadians, Filipino and Africans from different areas. The demographic texts indicate several numbers.
"77 Nationalities live in Aruba". But I also read 120 countries. But the list of what I have met justifies my motivations. To create a monument that commemorates the tangible and intangible cultural contribution that we bring to Aruba.
