Inburgering as art - Art as imburgering
This is how I call my work methodology, it is a reciprocal way of sharing knowledge. It increases a re-approchement of art and society, that's why I consider it successful in its implementation.

ARUBA

It is my working table since 2003. Where they generate all the projects, collaborations and exhibitions. Several projects have been presented here, in all the existing and extinct institutions in the last 20 years.

CUBA

Residence under cover. Not endorsed by any institution. It was my first project. Then I was selected for the Havana Biennial in 2015. I also presented a solo show at the embassy of the Netherlands in Havana.

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

Curatorial accompaniment with Gerardo Zavarce. A manuscript was generated and presented in the publication "Entre Dos Aguas".
A completely unpublished exhibition project is waiting to be presented in the Dominican Republic. "Poetics on the Side". "Poéticas a la Vera"

VENEZUELA

Being my country of birth and where I was educated, the political and economic situation marked the society with unimaginable changes. Going back was a pleasant experience, besides making a "re-integration" through art with my hometown after more than 10 years without artistic presence.

Under the curatorship of Gijs Stork, one of the first projects of Inburgering Art was presented at the Magazjin in 2012. Start of several other productions between the Dutch Caribbean and Amsterdam.

Curatorial accompaniment with Jaider Orsini, CANIBAL residency, presentation of the "Net Niet" project at the "Museo del Atlantico" as part of my experience in the Colombian Caribbean. Intervention in "Norte Santander" with mediations and collaborations with the Colombian Navy. Curated by Susana Quintero.

SOUTH KOREA

My first encounter with Asia. Seoul was an experiment of artistic research that resulted in art operations, sculptures, and video art presented at the Youngeun Museum of Contemporary Art. Under the curatorship of Sohe Park, Daniel Briceño, and Gerardo Zavarce.

USA

As part of the research and artistic production "Entre Dos Aguas", I made a form of artistic production between the Laundromat Art Space and Edge Zones Art Space. I generated an artistic production of pictorial pieces, drawings, video performances, and installations.
