• Havana at Biennial time is a space of different interactions for international artists. My first visit was for the production of the Aruba Biennial.

    My second visit was to make an independent artistic production, in which, I did not manage to produce any physical work. Only ideas, installations forms, and notes.

    My third visit was to represent Aruba in the 12th edition of the Havana Biennial, where I managed to put into practice a research on orality and contextual meanings.

    I saw 120 Cuban films, participated in online forums on Cuban popular sayings, and generated two literary pieces. A story and a theatrical script, that was later presented in two different scenarios. The Wifredo Lam Center, as the central venue of the Havana Biennial, and a second play was presented in the Cayohueso Community. Havana Center.

    As a result of the Cuban experience, a Solo Show was presented at the Embassy of the Netherlands.
